Foxborough Community Band Announce July 16 Show on the Common

The Foxboro Community Band, under the direction of Cami Tedoldi, will present its second annual concert on Tuesday, July 16, at 7 p.m. on the Foxboro Common. The concert is sponsored by the Foxboro Recreation Department and will feature audience favorites such as the music of Star Wars and Wicked and wind band standards by composers such as Percy Grainger, Eric Whitacre, Aaron Copland, and Charles Ives. Admission is free. Bring a chair or blanket and your picnic dinner and enjoy the talents of Foxboro residents in a unique and memorable way.

In its second year, the Foxboro Community Band was founded in 2012 by Foxboro residents Cami Tedoldi and Paula Bishop. Tedoldi, the band’s artistic director and conductor, is the orchestra director and instructor in the Foxboro Public Schools. She maintains a private flute studio and is currently pursuing a Masters in Music Education at Boston Conservatory. Bishop teaches music history at Bridgewater State University and works as a music director for various musical theater companies. She serves as the managing director of the band. The band is comprised of around 50 adult and high school players from Foxboro.

In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Foxboro High School auditorium. Please visit foxboroband.com for more information.
