Harrington announced that Town Hall will be collecting protein bars to send to troops overseas.

"After speaking with [Jerome's] family, they indicated it's pretty tough on the front eating that MRE food and have asked as a community if we were willing to donate protein bars," he said.

Foxborough will be collecting protein bars, power bars and protein powder to ship out overseas every two weeks.

"Lugging around all their equipment - They [the troops] need protein," said Town Manager Kevin Pacios at Tuesday night's Selectmen meeting.
