Foxboro Graduates and Rep. Barrows to Host Support Our Troops Day in Mansfield

State representative Jay Barrows along with Hero Helpers of America will host  “Support Our Troops” day in Mansfield on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at Barrows Insurance Agency at 215 North Main Street

“We’re thrilled that Representative Barrows is supporting this program and helping us introduce ourselves in the Mansfield area,” said co-founder and Foxboro High School graduate Amanda Dickerman.

Hero Helpers of America is seeking help from the surrounding communities, in ways such as volunteering to “Adopt-a-Soldier” by writing letters or donating items for care packages, as well as monetary donations to go towards supplies as well as postage to help send items to soldiers.  They intend to wrap up their fall campaign by Veterans Day.
