Around Town: Turf’s Up Field Project, Town Hall Repairs Finance Plan, Tri-Town Sewer and More

Here's a look at the happenings around Foxborough this week, Oct. 1-7.

Monday, Oct. 1:

Mansfield/Foxborough/Norton IMA Meeting, 6 p.m. at Mansfield Town Hall Meeting Room: Representatives from these three towns will meet in Mansfield Monday to hear a legislative update on the sewer connection fee for a tri-town wastewater treatment facility. Each community will also provide an update from its respective town. There will also be a discussion of the Draft Regional District Agreement. To view the meeting’s agenda, click here.

Conservation Commission, 7 p.m. at Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall: The Conservation Commission will discuss an update on the Hersey Farm sub-license and the Neponset Reservoir RAO report and comments, which are due Oct. 15. To view the meeting’s agenda, click here.

School Committee, 7 p.m. at Media Center of Foxborough High School: The Foxborough School Committee will discuss the Turf’s Up field project, review school culture and climate goals and vote to appoint voting delegates for the MASC annual meeting. To view the meeting’s agenda, click here.

Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners, 7 p.m. at Water Department Office of Town Hall: Commissioners will meet with Dan Krantz of the Kraft Group to discuss the billboard contract discussion of sewer district. The board will also discuss the administration of the billboard advertising contract with FXP, sewer flow increase at 34 Pleasant St., well monitoring at Witch Pond and report on the activity of negotiation group for Patriot Place. Tuesday, Oct. 2:

Board of Selectmen, 7 p.m. at Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall: The Board of Selectmen is expected to discuss the town’s emergency preparedness handbook with Health Agent Pauline Clifford. Town Manager Kevin Paicos will discuss Town Hall repairs finance plan with selectmen. The board is expected to go into executive session at the conclusion of the public meeting to discuss union contracts and real estate. To view the meeting’s agenda, click here.

Energy New England, LLC

Energy New England, 8:30 a.m., 100 Foxborough Blvd., Suite 110: Energy New England will meet in executive session to discuss “normal business.” To view the meeting’s agenda, click here.

Advisory Committee, 7 p.m. at Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall: Kevin Paicos and Bill Casbarra will meet with the committee to discuss the renovation and replacement of Town Hall. Sunday, Oct. 7:

Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots, 4:25 p.m. at Gillette Stadium: The New England Patriots return home Sunday to host the Denver Broncos at Gillette Stadium in Peyton Manning’s return to Foxborough for the first time since 2010.
