Here's a roundup of events and meetings in Foxborough this week, Dec. 12-16.

The following meetings and events will be held in Foxborough this week:

Wednesday, Dec. 12:

Ahern PAC Holiday Book Fair at Barnes and Noble in Walpole, 9 a.m.

  • Just in time for the Holidays - Support the Ahern PAC while you shop for the holidays. Stop by Barnes and Noble in Walpole Wednesday and tell your cashier you are shopping for the Ahern and the Ahern PAC will receive at least 10 percent of your purchase. The seventh grade band quartet will perform at Walpole’s Barnes and Noble at 6 p.m. If you can’t make it to Walpole you can shop Barnes and Noble online from Dec. 12-17. Be sure to use book-fair ID 10939684.

An Evening of Spirit Communication with Maria Halvorsen, at The Reiki Room, 6:30 p.m.

Foxboro Jaycees General Membership meeting, South Foxborough Community Center, 7:30 p.m.

  • The Foxboro Jaycees are a dynamic, enthusiastic volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life through community development projects and social events for chapter members. The Jaycees make our community better and have a lot of fun along the way.

    Anyone over 18 is welcome to stop by and visit the Jaycees during its monthly membership meetings, on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the South Foxboro Community Center to learn more about the Foxboro Jaycees.

Burrell Elementary School PTO Meeting, Burrell Elementary School, 7 p.m.

  • Burrell PTO meets tonight at 7 p.m.

Foxborough Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners, Andrew Gala Meeting Room, 5 p.m.

  • Foxborough Town Manager Kevin Paicos will meet with the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners to discuss new sewer funding mechanisms. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall.

Foxborough Boys’ Hockey Plays Stoughton

  • The Foxborough High School boys’ hockey team (0-0-1, 0-0-0) will play Stoughton at the Asiaf Arena in a Hockomock League Davenport Division game.

Foxborough Wrestling Hosts North Attleboro, 7 p.m.

  • The Foxborough High School wrestling team hosts North Attleboro at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 13:

Annual Holiday Wine Tasting, The Reserve Bin, 5 p.m.

‘Tis the season for The Reserve Bin’s yearly holiday tasting extravaganza. Each year, The Reserve Bin brings in some of its favorite wine purveyors and do the ultimate Bin tasting that will introduce you to all the great varietals perfect for whether you are buying something for the week or the perfect gift for someone this holiday season.   • Troop 7 Christmas Tree and Wreath Sales will be held at the Steamer Shed at 4 p.m. Trees begin at $15.

Foxborough High School Holiday Concert, Foxborough High School, 7 p.m.

  • Foxborough High School music department will perform a holiday concert in the FHS auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.

Foxborough Stadium Advisory Committee, Andrew Gala Meeting Room, 5:30 p.m.

  • Foxborough’s Stadium Advisory Committee will review the Kenny Chesney application for permit to hold two concerts at Gillette Stadium in August 2013.

Foxborough Planning Board, Andrew Gala Meeting Room, 7 p.m.

  • Foxborough’s Planning Board will meet to discuss the town’s master plan, hold a public hearing for a special permit at 43 Willow St. and old/new business.

Foxborough High School Girls’ Basketball Opens Season in Falmouth, 5:30 p.m.

  • The Foxborough High School girls’ basketball will open its season against Falmouth at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 14:

  • The Foxborough boys’ basketball team (1-0, 0-0) opens its Hockomock League play Friday in Wrentham when it plays King Philip at 6:30 p.m.

  • The Foxborough High School girls’ basketball hosts King Philip at 6:30 p.m. at Foxborough High School.

Saturday, Dec. 15:

Foxborough Wrestling Competes in Taunton Tournament, 10 a.m.

  • Foxborough will travel to Taunton for a wrestling tournament at 10 a.m.

Foxborough Indoor Track Competes Against Stoughton at Boston University, 3:30 p.m.

  • The Foxborough High School indoor track teams take on Stoughton at Boston University.

Sunday, Dec. 16:

New England Patriots Host San Francisco 49ers at Gillette Stadium, 8:20 p.m.

  • The New England Patriots (10-3) will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football at Gillette Stadium. Kick-off is 8:20 p.m.

  • Troop 7 Christmas Tree and Wreath Sales will be held at the Steamer Shed at 8:30 a.m. Trees begin at $15.

Auditions for "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” St Mark's Episcopal Church, 1 p.m.

  • The Un-Common Theatre Company continues its 33rd season with its spring production of the hilarious How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Auditions for students in grades 7 through 12 will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16.  Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows’ hilarious musical comedy will be directed by Christa Crewdson and choreographed by Julia Snider with music direction by Esther Zabinski.  This show will be performed at The Orpheum from April 4-7, 2013.

    Auditions will be held at St. Mark’s Church, 116 South Street, Foxborough on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. by appointment only. Students in grades 7 through 12 are welcome to audition. Callbacks will be held on Monday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Robinson School in Mansfield. A representative from The Un-Common Theatre Company will contact you with an appointment time and more information. Dancers are encouraged to audition.

    Auditioners are asked to prepare an up-tempo song from any musical comedy. Feel free to break from gender roles for the sake of comedy.
