What's happening in Foxborough today?

1. Monday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for increasing clouds, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. Calm wind.

2. will be holding a guided meditation Monday at 7 p.m. for $15 or a five-week series for $55. Give yourself the gift of an evening of just BEING. Allow your mind to follow the guided meditation that will take you places your soul craves: a waterfall, forest, or with the angels and guides. The Healing Moon Wellness Center's staff will do a different topic each week. The mats, blankets, and pillows will be waiting for you.

3. The Foxborough Democratic Town Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Foxborough Public Safety building. These meetings are open to the public and all are welcome. If you want to help re-elect President Obama or elect Elizabeth Warren to the U.S. Senate or Joe Kennedy to Congress from Foxborough's 4th Congressional District, this meeting is for you. You do not have to be a registered Democrat to come to the meeting.

4. The Foxborough Board of Health will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall. The board is expected to review and discuss housing violations on 31 Baker St. Unit 3 and an event on the Foxborough Commons for the River Community Church.

5. There are several events happening at _ Monday:

  • Summer Sensation - Creation Station: Beginning at 11 a.m., stop by Patriot Place for hands-on art activities that explore a wide range of art media and tools. On Monday, you can make Mexican Maracas.
  • Summer Sensation - Kids' Yoga Session: Erin Mann of Keyogi Kids is an early childhood educator that leads children in fun and playful yoga classes, beginning at 10 a.m.
  • Summer Sensation - Reptile Show: Beginning at 3 p.m., stop by Patriot Place for a free reptile show. You can experience direct contact with live animals, artifacts and fascinating stories about the animals and their natural habitats.
