1. Chance of Afternoon Showers in Foxborough Tuesday

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 73. East wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Tuesday night: A chance of showers. Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 57. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

2. Foxborough’s Board of Selectmen Meet Tuesday

Foxborough’s Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall to discuss the following town business:

  • 7:10 p.m. - Public hearing for UMass home games for the 2013 season at Gillette Stadium.
  • Status of Crossroads Veterans’ District
  • Status of Repairs on the Common
  • Report from the Racino Review Committee
  • Status report on sexual abuse prevention policy

3. Permanent Municipal Planning and Building Committee to Review Town Hall Options

Foxborough’s Permanent Municipal Planning and Building Committee to review Town Hall options and discuss other building projects Tuesday. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

  • Free information session - Weight Loss Surgery: If you are thinking about weight loss surgery and have questions, come to a free information session provided by the Center for Metabolic Health and Bariatric Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.
  • 6 p.m. - Spring Fever – Zumba: Zumba with Fierce Love Fitness. This is a Latin dance based class that lets you adapt the pace according to your fitness level.

  • 11 a.m. - Storytime at Showcase Cinema de Lux: Meet Spongebob at Kids Club Storytime Tuesday.

5. Art Show at Ahern Middle School

There will be a student art show at Ahern Middle School beginning at 6:30 p.m.
