The MIAA passes cannot be honored at the Springfield College MIAA Swim/Diving Championships, nor are tickets available for these events this weekend. This step is unprecedented in Association history, but so also are the cancelled tournaments that require this position.

We have invited hundreds of additional swimmers and divers to our State Championships this weekend, after their sectional tournaments were cancelled due to last weekend’s snowstorm. The added participation is a positive opportunity for those students, who would not have any tournament opportunity otherwise. Because of last weekend's massive snowfall, which impacted both our originally scheduled and back-up dates, the Association responded by entering into our state tournaments all swimmers who qualified as individuals for the regional championships. Divers who might have qualified during the sectionals also were entered. With many more participants than anticipated, facility constraints became evident. The resulting constraints preclude selling any tickets at the site, or from honoring passes of any nature. If you have not been designated to receive a ticket by your school, please DO NOT travel to Springfield College. You will NOT be admitted. Thank you for your understanding and support!!

We are providing a specific number of complimentary tickets for the limited available seating and standing room to the school principals and athletic directors who have student athletes competing in these Championships. We calculated the percentage of total entries that each school has in the meet, and then allocated that percentage to the total number of seats available. In addition, we assured that each school had as a minimum, enough tickets for one per athlete entered. Because we cannot accommodate anyone else at the site, we have arranged to have as many competitions as possible streamed live on www.masslive.com.

If you have been designated by your high school to receive one of the limited tickets, please click here for parking information and directions.
