1. Expect a Chance of Showers with Thunderstorms Monday in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Monday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. 2. Patriots ProShop Collection Now Open in North Marketplace of Patriot Place

The Patriots ProShop Collection features a unique blend of passion with fashion for women and children.  Patriots fans can find the latest trends in women and children apparel ranging from infant to youth to tweens.  The top selling men's gear will also be available.  Another unique aspect of the ProShop Collection are the exclusive Game Worn and autographed memorabilia collections.

The Patriots ProShop Collection is a new apparel store located in the North Marketplace of Patriot Place featuring “a unique blend of passion with fashion” for women and children. Patriots fans can find the latest trends in women and children apparel ranging from infant to youth to tweens.

The top selling men’s gear will also be available at the store. Another unique aspect of the ProShop Collection will be the exclusive game-worn and autographed memorabilia collections. The store, located at the former Aeropostale space at 263 Patriot Pl., is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

3. Foxborough School Committee Meets Monday

The Foxborough School Committee will meet for the first time since the April 30th Town Election and for the first time in 15 years Martha Slattery will not sit on the board. Slattery was defeated by challenger Stephen Udden, 1,583-1,333 at the April 30th election. On Monday, the committee is expected to discuss the following business:

  • Reorganization of School Committee
  • Teaching and Learning Highlights: The Start Here, Go Places Competition of Creative Excellence (Jon McCabe, Connor Capece, Alyssa Kelly, Drew McGeary).
  • Textbook adoption
  • Student interest survey results
  • Acceptance of donation
  • Proposed 2013-2014 school committee meeting dates
  • Update on Town Meeting
  • Bid award for certified athletic trainer service for 2013-2014

  • Financials
  • Director’s report
  • Old business/new business
