1. Expect a Partly Sunny Friday with a High Near 60 in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for partly sunny, with a high near 60. Northeast wind 8 to 15 mph. Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

2. New England Revolution Launch Charitable Auction for One Fund Boston

The New England Revolution Charitable Foundation has launched an online auction at biddingforgood.com with autographed items from last Saturday’s match at Gillette Stadium against the Philadelphia Union. All proceeds from the online auction will be donated to two charities: The One Fund – Boston and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The New England Revolution Charitable Foundation is the nonprofit organization through which the Revolution supports charitable and philanthropic organizations throughout New England. The foundation assists a variety of charitable organizations and programs by supporting their health and wellness and sporting initiatives. In particular the Revolution targets activities specifically aimed towards youth programs and programs with close ties to the game of soccer.

3. Foxborough Police Urge Drivers to Share Road with Motorcyclists


May is Motorcycle Awareness Month and as the weather gets warmer, more motorcyclists will be out on the roads.

Foxborough police urge drivers to be aware of motorcycles and share the road to keep operators safe.

“Last summer, our officers responded to the scene of a fatal accident in town involving a van and a motorcycle,” Foxborough police said on its Facebook page. “The operator of the van was charged and found guilty of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation. We urge drivers to check twice for motorcycles and share the road to keep motorcyclists safe.”

4. Patriot Place Events

Here’s a look at what’s happening at Patriot Place today:

11 a.m. - Spring Fever - Creation Station: Join Patriot Place for hands-on art activities that explore a wide range of art media and tools.

9:30 p.m. - Grand Central performs at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill: The Grand Central, a young country band influenced by the traditional hard-driving country and by the polished contemporary sounds coming out of Music City, has developed a powerful repertoire and a serious sound.

5. Foxboro Jaycees’ 53rd Annual Installation Banquet

The Foxboro Jaycees held their 53rd annual installation banquet at Lafayette House last month and swore in the 2013-2014 board of directors:
