The Patriots will then play their first home game of the 2013 season when they host the Buccaneers on Friday, Aug. 16, in a nationally televised game on FOX. The Patriots and Buccaneers will meet in the preseason for the third straight year after New England traveled to Tampa Bay in 2011 and 2012. The Patriots and Giants will play each other in the preseason finale for the ninth straight season and for the 23rd time overall in the preseason, the most frequent preseason opponent for New England. Last season, the Giants beat the Patriots, 6-3, at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 29, 2012.

5. Un-Common Theatre Presents ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’

Un-Common Theatre performs “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” Friday through Sunday at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxborough.

Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday’s performance begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door: $25 for adults, $22 students/seniors

The musical is one of power, sex, ambition and greed … in the office.  From the authors of “Guys And Dolls” comes one of the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time.  A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, facing such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love. On the way he must outsmart the big boss J.B. Biggley and J.B’s ambitious nephew Bud Frump all while romancing the lovely Rosemary Pilkington.

Un-Common’s Spring Production showcases 23 middle and high school students and brings together the talents of Un-Common veteran Director Christa Crewdson, Music Director Esther Zabinski and Choreographer Julia Snider.

Following its recent Tony-winning Broadway revival in 2011 and winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” melds wit, comedy, and romance together to perfection and is certain to entertain all who experience it.
