Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 22. Wind chill values as low as -2. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. West wind around 6 mph.

2. Dunkin’ Donuts Hosts American Red Cross Blood Drive at Patriot Place Activity Center

For the sixth year in a row, Dunkin’ Donuts and the American Red Cross are teaming up for the “Give a Pint, Get a Pound” campaign, which provides a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to all presenting donors.

On Thursday, the campaign rolls into Foxborough for a blood drive event at the Patriot Place Activity Center to help increase blood supply and raise awareness about the need for blood.

All presenting donors at Thursday’s blood drive will be entered into a drawing to win Patriots playoff tickets for the Jan. 13 AFC Divisional Round game. Five pairs of tickets will be given away.

Special appearances will be made by New England Patriots cheerleaders, Pat Patriot, the Dunkin’ Donuts mascot and the American Red Cross mascot. Radio station Mix 104.1 will be on site to provide music and giveaways.

The drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Patriot Place Activity Center.

The campaign is in celebration of National Blood Donor Month and helps increase awareness about the need for blood. The campaign has achieved great success during the past four years as Dunkin’ Donuts has provided more than 435,000 pounds of coffee to presenting donors, and if one donation may help save three lives, Dunkin’ Donuts has potentially helped more than 1.3 million patients. Donated blood is used to help accident victims, trauma patients, transplant recipients, and those receiving treatment for life-threatening illnesses.

3. Stadium Advisory Committee to Discuss Bon Jovi Concert

Foxborough’s Stadium Advisory Committee will meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall to review the Gillette Stadium license application for the Bon Jovi “Because We Can” Tour scheduled for Saturday, July 20. For more information about the concert, click here.

4. Live Model Workshop at Hunakai Studio

Hunakai Studio at 263 Central St. is offering an eight-week workshop from Jan. 10 to Feb. 27. The course will be taught by Steven Gaul with live models for high school juniors, seniors or interested adults. This is an essential workshop for portfolios or to further art skills.
