1. Expect a Cloudy and Cold Wednesday in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for increasing clouds, with a high near 35. West wind 10 to 16 mph. Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. West wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

2. Nomar Garciaparra Begins 3-Day Hitting Clinic at RBI Academy

Nomar Garciaparra is back in Foxborough this week to host his annual winter hitting clinic for young baseball players at RBI Baseball Academy on Green Street.

“As always I’m excited to work with young players this winter at RBI,” Garciaparra said. “This clinic has been a part of my winter routine for the last 15 years. I’m looking forward to sharing my passion for hitting with young athletes that want to become better hitters and get an edge on their competition, I can’t wait to get started.”

The three-day clinic begins on Wednesday, Feb. 20 and ends on Friday, Feb. 22 at RBI Baseball Academy. Pre-registration was required for the event. Click here for more information.

3. Advisory Committee to Discuss FY14 Budget Wednesday

Foxborough’s Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall to continue its discussion of the FY14 budget and May Town Meeting Warrant.

  • 4 p.m. - Winter Wonder 2013 - Reptile Show: Join Patriot Place for its free Reptile Show. You can experience direct contact with live animals, artifacts, and fascinating stories about the animals and their natural habitats.

5. Foxboro Jaycees Looking for Relay for Life Team Captain

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life (RFL) season has started. The Foxboro Jaycees are looking for someone to be the 2013 Foxboro Jaycees' RFL team captain. This year's RFL is on June 21-22nd at the Ahern Middle School.
