Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph. Tuesday night: Clear, with a low around 29. West wind around 6 mph.

2. Funeral Services for Foxborough Resident Brendan Kelly will be Held Tuesday at Bethany Congregational Church

Foxborough resident Brendan Joseph Kelly, 21, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21.

Kelly graduated from Foxborough High School in 2010 and was currently attending Framingham State University. He was born on Nov. 3, 1991 and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed kayaking and hiking. He enjoyed history and hanging out with friends. He was a former member of Boy Scout Troop 7 of Foxborough. He also taught Sunday school at Bethany Church.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill St., Foxborough. Internment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough. For additional information please contact (508) 543-5471.

3. Foxborough Board of Selectmen Meet Tuesday

Foxborough’s Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall to discuss the following town business:

  • Town Manager Kevin Paicos and Financial Director Randy Scollins will discuss the FY14 CIP budget with selectmen
  • Paicos and Scollins will discuss the FY14 operating budget
  • Selectmen will go into executive session to discuss strategy for collective bargaining, negotiations with non-union personnel and review executive session minutes.
