1. Expect a Sunny Weekend in Foxborough

Saturday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind around 9 mph. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. West wind around 5 mph. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph. Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light after midnight.

2. Foxborough Youth Baseball & Softball Opening Day Parade Cancelled

Saturday’s Foxborough youth baseball and softball Opening Day parade and ceremony have been cancelled due to weather, according to the Foxborough Recreation Department’s Facebook page.

“Due to the conditions of the fields and the weather, the Baseball/ Softball parade and all games are cancelled for Saturday, April 13,” the Recreation Department said.

3. UMass Football to Hold Youth Clinic at Gillette Stadium Saturday

The UMass football team will offer a free Youth Football Clinic on Saturday at the Dana-Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium.

The clinic will be taught by the UMass football coaching staff and is open to children in grades 1-through-8. The clinic will start at 10:15 a.m. prior to the team's practice at 11:30 a.m. The day will also include an autograph session with the team.

There is free parking available to fans in lots 10 and 22 - for more information and parking directions, visit www.GilletteStadium.com.

The clinic will consist of football related drills and other fun activities with members of the coaching staff. Registration was required for the event.

5. Neponset Choral Society Spring Concert Set for April 28th

The Neponset Choral Society invites you to attend their Spring 2013 Concert "Jubilant Songs," featuring the choral music of Benjamin Britten, Norman Dello Joio, and John Dowland. The event will be held on Sunday, April 28th at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Cost is $20.
