1. Chance of Snow Sunday in Foxborough

Saturday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 36. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph. Saturday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 19. Light and variable wind. Sunday: A chance of snow showers before 2 p.m., then a slight chance of rain showers between 2 and 4 p.m., then a slight chance of snow showers after 4 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Sunday night: A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

2. Original Boston Patriots Player Jack Davis Passes Away

The New England Patriots were saddened to learn of another loss of their family. Jack Davis, an original Boston Patriot, died on New Year’s Day in Palm Harbor, Fla. He was 80-years old.

Born March 12, 1932 in Braddock, Pa., Davis played college football at the University of Maryland before being drafted in the 15th round by the Washington Redskins in 1958. He was signed by the Patriots in their inaugural season in 1960 and appeared in all 14 games for the team that year. It was his only season with the Patriots.

According to a former teammate, Davis once sang the national anthem prior to one of the Patriots games that season.

A memorial service for Davis will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 4 p.m. in Palm Harbor, Fla. For more information, please visit www.curlewhills.com.

3. Boys’ Hockey Hosts Mansfield, Wrestling Travels to Nashoba

The Foxborough High School boys’ hockey team hosts Mansfield Saturday at 8:10 p.m. while the wrestling team travels to Nashoba for a 10 am. Tournament. On Sunday, the swim team hosts Attleboro at 2 p.m.

• 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Saturday) - 2011 Lamar Hunt AFC Championship Trophy Display: The 2011 AFC Championship Trophy will be removed from its case this weekend only and made available for photo opportunities to the public. Guests should bring their own cameras as The Hall will not be supplying photos.
• (Saturday) - Bye Weekend Viewing Parties at CBS Scene: Join the CBS Scene during the NFL’s Wild Card weekend and you can enter to win a pair of tickets to the Jan. 13 Patriots playoff game. A winner will be chosen Saturday, Jan. 5th.

5. Patriots to Hold Memorial Service for Equipment Manager Don Brocher Saturday

A memorial service for Patriots equipment manager Don Brocher will be held in the East Putnam Club at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 5. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Brocher was the franchise’s longest tenured employee (41 years) and passed away on Jan. 1 of leukemia.
