Here's what's happening in Foxborough this weekend, Oct. 27-28.

Saturday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for patchy fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Saturday night: A slight chance of showers after 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Sunday: A chance of rain, mainly after 7 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Northeast wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Sunday night: Rain likely, mainly after 10 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 48. Northeast wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

2. Halloween Activities in Foxborough Area

It’s a busy weekend to celebrate Halloween in the Foxborough area. Check out these great events if you’re in the area and looking for something to do for Halloween weekend!

  • Foxborough Recreation Department’s Halloween Parade on the Common, 3:30 p.m. behind Town Hall: Foxborough’s annual Halloween parade is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Participants will gather at the Town Hall parking lot at 3:30 p.m. and march – while trick-or-treating along the way - to Foxboro Common at 4 p.m. Those participating are encouraged to wear costumes. A post parade party is scheduled at the Igo Elementary School cafeteria. There will be prizes, goodie bags, refreshments and crafts. The event is free and open to all.
  • Trunk or Treat at Church of Emmanuel: Wear your costume to the Church of Emmanuel from 3-5 p.m. Kids collect candy and treats from the decorated car trunks in the back parking lot and enjoy festive food, games, a bouncy house and more.
  • Trick-or-Treating at Patriot Place: Kickoff your Halloween celebration with Patriot Place Saturday for Trick or Treating and Characters on Parade. Festivities begin promptly at 2 p.m.
  • Haunted Hallows at Mansfield: Mansfield Haunted Hallows is taking place at 401 Oakland St. and is staffed by Mansfield High student-volunteers. It is open from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and the cost is $10. The latest ticket will be sold at 10 p.m.
  • Walpole Halloween Parade: The Walpole Recreation Department is hosting a Halloween Parade at Blackburn Hall at 10 a.m. and the cost is $5 per child. During the parade, there will be a costume contest and then kids can trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses. After the parade, they will host our Halloween party. There will be music, crafts, games, face painters and more back at Blackburn Hall. Prizes will be awarded at the party. Price includes admission to the parade and party. Each participant receives two free game tickets. Additional game tickets can be purchased during the party. If there is bad weather, the event will be held inside.

3. Fanautical to Hold “Fun Raiser” to Benefit America Cancer Association

Join Fanautical at Patriot Place for a Fun-Raiser Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Ten percent of all “SAILS” go to American Cancer Society.

  • Bass Pro Shops - It's the Great Pumpkin: Join Bass Pro Shops for a safe and fun Halloween celebration. Enjoy free Trick or Treating, a free photo in the Peanuts Pumpkin Patch, Halloween crafts, prizes and more.
  • 6 p.m. - 20,000 Leagues - Lights OUT: Are you brave enough to visit Captain Nemo’s abandoned submarine with nothing but a flashlight and your wits to guide you through its pitch black chambers? Find out at 5Wits tonight.
  • 9:30 p.m. - Branded at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill: This Boston-based alternative country band blurs the lines between three-chords-and-the-truth and down home country music.

Sunday:

  • Bass Pro Shops - It's the Great Pumpkin: Join Bass Pro Shops for a safe and fun Halloween celebration. Enjoy free Trick or Treating, a free photo in the Peanuts Pumpkin Patch, Halloween crafts, prizes and more.
  • Join 98.5 The Sports Hub at CBS Scene and watch the New England Patriots play the St. Louis Rams in London on Oct. 28th from noon to 4 p.m. and you could win Tito's Vodka All American Tailgate Package.

5. Foxborough High School Powder Puff Football Game is Saturday

  • The Foxborough High School junior and senior classes will square off in the annual Powder Puff football game at Ahern Field from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
