1. A Sunny Monday Expected in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for showers likely, mainly before 5 p.m. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a high near 73. South wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Tuesday night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Steady temperature around 68. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

2. The Kraft Group Expected to Present Development Plans at Tuesday’s Selectmen Meeting

The Board of Selectmen will hear a presentation of The Kraft Group’s development plans for Patriot Place and along Route 1 from Kraft Group representative Dan Murphy. For more on Tuesday’s meeting, click here.

3. Warriors Game Day:

The following Foxborough High School teams will be in action Tuesday:

  • Boys’ golf hosts Oliver Ames at 3:30 p.m.
  • Girls’ volleyball hosts Norton at 4:45 p.m.
  • Boys’ and girls’ cross country travel to Stoughton for a 3:30 p.m. meet
  • Field hockey travels to Brockton for a 3:45 p.m. game

4. Patriot Place Events:

  • 11 a.m. - Storytime at Showcase Cinema de Lux: Meet Bob the Builder at Kids Club Storytime Tuesday.
  • Noon - Bounce Houses: Jump around all afternoon in inflatable bounce houses. Located in the North Marketplace outside of Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, enjoy great views of Gillette Stadium as the kids bounce the day away.
  • 7 p.m. - Tuesday Night Tasting - Greenvale Vineyards: Join Tastings as it partners with Greenvale Vineyards' owner Nancy Wilson, to taste through her portfolio of wines grown locally in Portsmouth, R.I.

5. Ras-I Dowling Visits Ahern Middle School

New England Patriots' defensive back Ras-I Dowling will visit with approximately 900 students at Ahern Middle School in Foxborough Tuesday morning as a reward for achieving their summer reading goals.

Dowling's visit is part of the Patriots' "Read Between the Lines" summer reading program. A special assembly will be held at Ahern for the students to visit with Dowling, who will congratulate students and talk about the importance of reading.
