Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Friday night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog. Low around 59. Southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

2. Homecoming Weekend at Foxborough High School

It’s Homecoming Weekend at Foxborough High School. Here’s an outline of some of the events taking place Friday and Saturday:

  • Spirit week concludes at Foxborough High School Friday.
  • Pep rally will be held at Foxborough High School from 1:15 to 2 p.m. Friday.
  • Homecoming football game against Oliver Ames will be held at 7 p.m. at Ahern Field.
  • Homecoming dance will be held at Foxborough High School from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

3. Foxboro Recreation Department Presents Halloween Bash

UPDATE: This event required pre-registration to attend and is now full. Saturday's Bash has been cancelled, according to the Foxborough Recreation Department because not enough people registered.

The Foxboro Recreation Department's Halloween Bash will be held today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be goblin toss, mummy wrap relays, apple bowling, monster splat and make your own trick-or-treat bags. Those attending are asked to come in costume.

4. Warriors Game Day:

The following Foxborough High School teams will be in action Friday:

  • Football team hosts Oliver Ames at 7 p.m.
  • Boys’ soccer team travels to Milford for a 3:45 p.m. match
  • Girls’ soccer hosts Milford at 3:45 p.m.
  • Girls’ volleyball travels to Milford for a 5 p.m. match
  • Field hockey hosts Milford at 3:45 p.m.

  • 6 p.m. - 20,000 Leagues - Lights OUT: Are you brave enough to visit Captain Nemo’s abandoned submarine with nothing but a flashlight and your wits to guide you through its pitch black chambers? Stop by 5Wits and find out.
  • 8 p.m. - Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes at Showcase Live: Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes first achieved prominence in the mid-1970s, emerging from the same New Jersey Shore music scene as his now legendary contemporary and friend Bruce Springsteen.
  • 9:30 p.m. - Digger Dawg at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill: This band offers a high-energy show of the ultimate in country, rock and blues. Digger Dawg was honored with a tour overseas to the troops in 2008 in Kuwait and Iraq.
