1. Expect Showers and a Thunderstorm Tuesday in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 47 by 5 p.m. South wind 9 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

2. Meet Patrick Chung at Olympia Sports

Meet New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olympia Sports at Patriot Place.

3. Board of Selectmen to Discuss Tax Classification, National Grid, Special Town Meeting Warrant and More

Foxborough’s Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall to discuss the following town business:

• Tax Classification hearing with Randy Scollins and Hannelore Simmons
• National Grid
• Request from MIAA for town to waive ticket sale fee for 2012 MIAA football Super Bowls at Gillette Stadium
• Special Town Meeting Warrant Review
• Negotiations with non-union personnel (executive session)

4. PTO Meetings at Igo and Taylor Schools

The Igo School Elementary School PTO will meet at 7 p.m. at the school. The Taylor School PTO will meet at 7 p.m. at the school.
