1. Expect a Cloudy Thursday in Foxborough with a High Near 57

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly cloudy, with a high near 57. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Thursday night: Cloudy, with a low around 39. West wind 3 to 7 mph.

2. Downtown Parking Workshop at Town Hall

The Foxborough Planning Board will sponsor a presentation by Sarah Kurpiel, transportation engineer and planner from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, on the parking situation in Foxborough’s downtown. The workshop will include an inventory of public and private parking, the location of existing parking and the potential for additional public parking, a discussion of the amount of parking needed both today and in the future, and particularly look at the inclusion of other modes of transportation.

The workshop will be held at Foxborough Town Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

All interested people are encouraged to attend; please call the Planning Board at (508) 543-1250 for more information.

3. Foxborough Fire Children’s Open House Set for Saturday

Foxborough Fire & Rescue will be holding its annual Children's Open House on Saturday, Nov. 3rd, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend and enjoy pizza, popcorn, drinks and the SAFE trailer as well as the latest technology in Fire and EMS. Bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Foxborough Food Pantry. Children will have the opportunity to meet firefighters and check out all the trucks.
