Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for rain. High near 45. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph becoming north 7 to 12 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Thursday night: A chance of rain and snow before 11 p.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

3. 7 Patriots Elected to 2013 Pro Bowl

The NFL announced the 2013 Pro Bowl rosters Wednesday and seven Patriots were selected to the AFC squad:

  • Tom Brady
  • Wes Welker
  • Logan Mankins
  • Rob Gronkowski
  • Jerod Mayo
  • Vince Wilfork
  • Matthew Slater

The Boyden Library Trustees will meet Thursday at the Lovely Law Office on 6 Railroad Ave. to discuss the following business:

  • Review of FY14 budget
  • Authorization to sell stock gifted to Beyond Books Boyden Library Gift Fund
  • Formal acceptance of gifts to Beyond Books Boyden Library Gift Fund
