Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 47. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 3 to 8 mph.

2. Dean College Performs Holiday Flash Mob at Patriot Place

Students from Dean College recently treated Patriot Place patrons to a holiday-themed flash mob. Click the YouTube video in the photo gallery above to watch the performance.

3. Serenading Seniors Perform for Burrell Fourth Graders

The Serenading Seniors will perform for Burrell Elementary School fourth graders at 10 a.m.

4. Patriot Place Events:

  • Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops: Enjoy a free photo with Santa, games crafts and more at Santa’s Wonderland.
  • Help the Foxborough Food Pantry at Old Navy: From now through Dec. 19 Old Navy will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit the Foxborough Food Pantry. Help those in need this holiday season and make a donation today.
  • 11 a.m. - Winter Wonder - Creation Station: Join Patriot Place for hands-on art activities that explore a wide range of art media and tools. Today you can Decorate Your Own Christmas Tree.
  • 6 p.m. - Winter Wonder - Sleigh Rides: Enjoy a free horse drawn sleigh ride around the South Marketplace grounds of Patriot Place. Perfect for getting into the holiday spirit. Make sure you don’t miss this new and exciting event. Sleigh rides begin at Bass Pro Shops.
  • 9:30 p.m. - Digger Dawg at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill: This band offers a high-energy show of the ultimate in country, rock and blues. Digger Dawg was honored with a tour overseas to the troops in 2008 in Kuwait and Iraq.

5. Troop 7 Christmas Tree Sales

Troop 7 Christmas Tree and Wreath Sales will be held at the Steamer Shed behind Town Hall at 4 p.m. Trees begin at $15.
