1. Expect a Sunny Wednesday in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northeast around 6 mph in the morning. Wednesday night: Patchy fog after 4 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

2. Foxborough’s Public Advisory Committee to Hold Open Meeting with Kraft Organization

The town’s public advisory committee will be holding an open meeting with representatives from The Kraft Organization to continue discussions related to future business development along Route 1, the town’s need for a new water and sewer facility and more. 3. Dance Auditions at Elite Dance Center Being Held Tonight

Elite Dance Center, 121 Main St., Foxborough, will be holding dance team and performance company auditions from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. New and returning students welcome. There is no cost to audition. For more information about Elite Dance Center, click here.

4. Events:

  • Donate Pants to Old Navy and Enter to Win Country Fest Tickets: Donate a pair of children or youth sized pants at Old Navy to Cradles to Crayons and receive 50 percent off an adult ticket to The Hall presented by Raytheon and be entered to win two tickets to The New England Country Music Festival. A Winner will be chosen every day.
  • 11 a.m. - Summer Sensation 2012 - Face Painting: Visit Old Navy where the face painters will make you look cool.
  • 3 to 4 p.m. - Kidville Krafts: Join Kidville for free summer crafts and discounted playspace rates.
  • 7 to 10 p.m. - Live Music at Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro: Welcome Three of a Kind to Tastings' Music Series stage.
  • 8 p.m. - Buckcherry at Showcase Live: With five albums, including two gold and one platinum, and a slew of hit singles, California-based Buckcherry needs no introduction.
  • 9:30 p.m. - Digger Dawg at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill: This band offers a high-energy show of the ultimate in country, rock and blues. Digger Dawg was honored with a tour overseas to the troops in 2008 in Kuwait and Iraq.

5. Support Foxboro Midget Football at Chateau Restaurant in Norton

On Wednesday, The Chateau Restaurant in Norton will be holding its annual Foxboro Midget Football fundraiser where they donate 20 percent of the total bill to the program when someone presents an FMF coupon. Click here and follow directions for a coupon. This fundraiser is good for both dining in or taking out throughout the entire day.

FMF will be raffling off a $50 gift card as part of this event.  To enter the drawing, all you need to do is bring your dinner receipt from the fundraiser to the concession stand on Thursday, Aug. 23.  Write your name on the receipt and enter it into the drawing that will be held at the end of practice that night.
