1. Expect a Sunny Saturday Before Showers on Easter Sunday in Foxborough

Saturday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph. Saturday night: Clear, with a low around 29. Light and variable wind. Sunday: A chance of showers, mainly after 4 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 54. Light south wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Sunday night: Showers, mainly before midnight. Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Low around 39. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

3. Join Team Foxborough Regional Charter School for 2013 Walk for Hunger

Project Bread creates a mobile city for over 40,000 friends who roar forth, rain or shine, to help the hungry. These Walkers – along with their donors and Volunteers – help fund hunger relief and prevention through over 430 emergency programs, schools, community health centers, farmers’ markets, community suppers, home care organizations, and other programs that protect the individual and strengthen our community’s food security throughout the state.

Here’s what’s happening around Patriot Place this weekend:

(Saturday) - Easter Activities at Bass Pro Shops: Join Bass Pro Shops for free and fun Easter activities. Get a free photo with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, crafts for the kids and more.

(Saturday) - Old Navy Fashion Show: Students from Foxborough Regional Charter School will model new spring clothing. Models will be escorted by members of Hats 4 Happiness, a non-profit that collects new hats for kids losing their hair due to illness. Bring a new hat to donate to Hats 4 Happiness.

(Saturday) - New England Revolution vs. FC Dallas: Come see the New England Revolution take on FC Dallas at Gillette Stadium Saturday.

(Sunday) - Dine at Patriot Place this Easter: Bring the family and enjoy one of Patriot Place’s many restaurants for special Easter menus.

(Sunday) - Easter Activities at Bass Pro Shops: Join Bass Pro Shops for free and fun Easter activities. Get a free photo with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, crafts for the kids and more.

5. Foxborough Police Looking for Suspect in Attempted B&E on Mechanic Street

Foxborough Police took a report Friday afternoon of an attempted breaking and entering into a residence on Mechanic Street in the area of Maple Avenue. The attempt is believed to have taken place during the day Friday. The suspect was unable to gain access to the residence. If you have any information regarding suspicious persons or vehicles around this area during the day, contact investigating officer Mark Bohnenberger at (508) 543-1212.
