5 Things: CRRA Pool Hours, Library Trustees Meeting and Patriot Place Events

Here's a look at the day ahead for Wednesday, June 20.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday’s weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 95. West wind between 6 and 10 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 71. West wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Swim at Cocasset River Recreation Area: Take the kids to Cocasset River Recreation Area and cool off on a record-hot Wednesday. The CRRA pool opened for public swimming on Monday, June 18 and will remain open for summer afternoons until Aug. 31. Lifeguards are always on duty at the pool. Adult supervision is required for children aged 10 and under. The shallow end has wide stairs for entrance into three feet of water; the deep end is six-feet with stairs to climb out. Each end has a shelf for sitting while relaxing in the pool. Showers are available at poolside and accessible restrooms are on site. Membership registration forms as well as rules and regulations are available through the Booth Recreation Office, online at www.foxboroughma.gov and at the pool during open season. Pool hours are Monday through Sunday, noon to 7 p.m. Rates are as follows:

  • Family Membership $165
  • Individual Membership $85
  • Senior Membership $25
  • Daily Pass $5
