Here's a look at the day ahead for Wednesday, June 27.

1. Wednesday’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers, mainly between 1 and 3 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. West wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind between 5 and 7 mph.

2. The Norfolk County Retirement Board will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at 480 Neponset St., Canton; The Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall. On the agenda is review of reserve fund transfer request by Randy Scollins; review of minutes from last meeting; review a suggested deployed servicemen supplemental compensation plan and re-organize officers.
