1. Chance of Snow Monday in Foxborough

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a slight chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Northeast wind 9 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Monday night: A chance of rain and snow before 8 p.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

2. Calling Hours for Foxborough Resident Brendan Kelly is Monday at Roberts & Sons Funeral Home

Foxborough resident Brendan Joseph Kelly, 21, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21.

Kelly graduated from Foxborough High School in 2010 and was currently attending Framingham State University. He was born on Nov. 3, 1991 and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed kayaking and hiking. He enjoyed history and hanging out with friends. He was a former member of Boy Scout Troop 7 of Foxborough. He also taught Sunday school at Bethany Church.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill St., Foxborough. Internment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough. 3. Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation Donates $10,000 to HESSCO Elder Services

The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation today announced it donated $10,000 to HESSCO Elder Services to support the organization’s Care Transition Program, which works to ease the transition for elderly patients from the hospital to their homes.  Based in Sharon, HESSCO Elder Services offers a wide variety of services throughout Sharon, Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Medfield, Millis, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Walpole, Westwood, and Wrentham that help elders live independently in their homes.

 “Rockland Trust is proud to support organizations like HESSCO Elder Services that are committed to the physical and social well-being of the people in our community,” said Mark Coletta, Vice President and Manager of Rockland Trust’s Foxborough branch.  “We believe it is important to provide elders the services they need to live a safe and happy life and we are pleased to help HESSCO achieve its mission.”

HESSCO Elder Services offers home care, money management, legal services, meal-delivery, and nutrition counseling to elders in the South Norfolk County community at no cost or for a minimal fee.  The organization’s goal is to make it easier for older individuals and families to access comprehensive health and supportive services.

“Our programs are designed to help elders live safely and comfortably in their homes, which can be especially challenging for those returning home after a hospital stay,” said Mary Jean McDermott, Executive Director of HESSCO Elder Services, Inc. “We are very grateful for this contribution from Rockland Trust, which will help us provide elders with the resources to live fulfilling lives.”

5. Foxborough High School Talent Show Winners

Foxborough High School students showcased their skills, personalities and talents under the spotlight of the auditorium stage Thursday in the annual talent show.

Genne Rogan won first place for her musical performance on guitar, Luke Schaaf and Tyler Aubuchon took home second place for their juggling act and Jenna Cherry and Kayla Sepe placed third for their duet.
