1. Expect a Rainy Wednesday in Foxborough with a High Near 40

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for rain. Patchy fog. High near 40. East wind 13 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. Wednesday night: Rain before 3 a.m., then rain and snow likely. Patchy fog before 3 a.m. Low around 35. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

2. Advisory Committee Meets to Discuss Warrant Articles

Foxborough’s Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room of Town Hall to discuss warrant articles for May’s Annual Town Meeting.

3. Boyden Library Trustees to Discuss Renovation Project Issues

The Boyden Library Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Foxborough High School Media Center to hear a report from the Friends of the Boyden Library, review financial, staff, and director’s reports, review proposed FY14 budget, discussion of addition and renovation project issues, capital campaign discussion.

  • Bass Pro Shops Spring Fishing Classic: Join Bass Pro Shops for the annual Fishing Classic now until March 10, featuring free seminars, boat specials, rod trade in, reel trade in and more. You can also enter to win a fishing trip with Tony Stewart.

5. Skating Academy Basic Skills Ice Skating Class at Foxboro Sports Center

Learn to skate or pick up where you left off with a Skating Academy Basic Skills Ice Skating Class from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Foxboro Sports Center. Classes for children ages 3+. Adult class offered as well. The course is a seven-week class. Rental skates available for $5 in the pro shop. Helmets recommended for beginners. Cost for class is $105.
