Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of rain. Patchy fog before 2 p.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. Southwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Wednesday night: Rain likely, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 9 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog between 8 and 9 p.m., then Patchy fog after 10 p.m. Low around 51. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
