Local Foxborough residents participate in Komen MA 5k Race for Cure

This past weekend over 2,000 people participated in the 21st Annual Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure. This inspiring event, which took place in South Boston on Sunday, September 29th, was presented by the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Local Foxborough residents joined in on the fun by running and walking in the annual 5k. The Race kicked off Komen MA’s October activities for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 5K fitness walk/run is dedicated to raising dollars to support local breast health programs that cover education, prevention, screening, and treatment while also funding the most promising research on a national level.
