Foxboro 11-year-old baseball team competes in Mansfield Summer Classic Tournament

The Foxboro Warriors 11 year old “A” baseball team competing in the Mansfield Summer Classic had a strong showing, progressing to the semi-finals. The tournament, held July 13 & 14th, attracted over 21 teams throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.

Foxboro beat Mansfield 4 to 3 in the first game; defeated Lakeville 7 to 2 in game two; and slaughtered Norwood in game three, 17 to 0. Their 3-0 record put the team in the semi-finals where they were defeated by Lakeville.

Pitching for the tournament was handled by a rotation of Reece Rappoli, Michael Devlin, Will Morrison, Dylan Barreria, Joe Cavaleri, and Kyle McGinnis. Catching was Brian Gardner and Kyle McGinnis.

Team members are: Dylan Barreria, Joe Cavaleri, Michael Devlin, Matt Garcia, Brian Gardner, Kyle McGinnis, Will Morrison, Kyle Parker, Thomas Potenza, Reece Rappoli,  Joe Spognardi, and Bobby Yerardi. Paul Rappoli is the team manager, assistant coaches are Tom Garcia, Tony Barreria, and Bruce Gardner.
