This Wednesday, March 9, marked the beginning of Lent. A typical Christian ritual involves giving up "something" as a form of self-disciple leading up to Easter on April 24. Many choose to give up candy, sweets, chocolate, alcohol and coffee, while others may go for "mental" sacrifices such as "giving up negative thoughts." During this week's Moms Talk we want to hear from you on what Lent means to you and your family. Do you give up something for Lent and encourage your children to do the same? How important is teaching self-discipline to children at a young age?
