Chung Changing Lives, Inc. is proud to announce the Chung Changing Lives Opening Night Fundraiser, which will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Mercedes-Benz of Westwood.
Chung Changing Lives, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation established in 2012 by Patrick & Cecelia Chung. Patrick Chung is a member of the New England Patriots. Chung was drafted by the New England Patriots in the second round (34th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. During his time in New England, Chung and his wife, Cecelia Chung, have worked with community groups to support children through events such as organizing youth football programs in the Boston Neighborhoods and judging science fairs. Patrick Chung is also a spokesperson for Boston vs. Bullies, a program started by the Sports Museum to combat bullying in the Boston area.
Chung believes that each person has the ability and power to give a helping hand to a child in need. Chung and his family look to serve children in the areas of athletics, arts & music, and academics. Through Chung Changing Lives, Chung seeks to increase opportunities for children by providing access to athletic instruction, art & music lessons and instruction, and tutoring & life skills training. The goal of Chung Changing Lives is to cultivate healthy lifestyles and active civic participation for children.
Patrick & Cecelia Chung will be joined by their friends and sponsors which include representatives from WilmerHale LLP, Prime Motor Group, Sovereign Bank – Santander, Pitching for Kids, and UMass – Boston. The master of ceremonies will be DJ Maverik from Boston’s JAM’N 94.5 and will feature a live auction by Julie Sutera of Harvard Auctioneers.
