Juliette Weiss has a love for art and life.

"None of my success or my portfolio would have been possible without the guidance and help of my art teachers," said Weiss at a recent School Committee meeting.

Art is just one of the many ways that Weiss gives back to the community and to her fellow classmates. Along with being Editor-in-chief of the yearbook club, Weiss is also President of First Friends, Vice Presidents of Best Buddies, delegate on the Executive Board of Student Council and Student Representative on the anti-bullying task force.

Weiss also received the Russell Sage Art Award and the South Eastern Massachusetts Association of Student Councils Unsung Hero Award.

Planning to pursue a career in graphic design, Weiss is hoping to attend the Rhode Island School of Design in the fall but is also applying to the Maryland Institute College of Art, Corcoran College of Art and Design, Mass Art, and UMass Dartmouth.

Weiss's recent award of "most spirited in her senior class" is no surprise given her list of accomplishments as not only an artist but as a committed community member as well.
