Different people care about different issues in their town and Foxborough is no different.
Some residents may view the town’s water and sewer situation and need for a water treatment plant as the biggest issue the town is currently facing.
“Water and sewer will likely be the biggest issue the town faces this year,” said Board of Selectmen chair James DeVellis during a recent BOS meeting.
Others may view the town’s proposed master plan and future development of the downtown as a major issue as there's also been talk of building a new town hall and DPW facility.
Speaking of development, there's always future possibilities with The Kraft Organization. The town's newly formed public advisory committee has begun new dialogue with The Kraft Organization to discuss future possibilities.
On the public safety side of town, Foxborough Police Chief Edward O’Leary said traffic safety and drug and alcohol abuse are among the town’s biggest issues for the department.
