In today’s economy, businesses come and go in Foxborough all the time. Tell us which ones you were sad to see go in the comments section below.
But not all the changes in the Foxborough business landscape this year were positive as several shops and restaurants closed their doors for good or for new locations.
Over this past year, Foxborough said goodbye to restaurants like Piccadilly Pub, Main Street shops like Mustard Seeds Antiques and function halls like Christina’s, which has since reopened as Demetri’s.
In addition, the economy has changed the business plan for at least one local venue as Showcase Live at Patriot Place announced this year it will no longer book musical acts in Foxborough, beginning in 2013.
And as our Visions for Vacancies feature shows, there are still plenty of empty storefronts around town.
