VIDEO: Proposed Casino Sends Demonstrators to Gillette Monday
Residents who opposed and supported the idea of a casino across from Gillette Stadium lined Route 1 Monday
Opponents and proponents of a proposed $1 billion casino lined Route 1 Monday at Patriot Place with signs in hand.
The demonstrators arrived in response to news last week that Patriots owner Robert Kraft is in discussion with Las Vegas developer Steve Wynn about building the casino on approximately 200 acres across from Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place.
The Foxborough planning board will meet Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Ahern School.
*Correction: Foxborough's town meeting will be held Monday night. The casino will not be discussed.
