In case a road race wasn't enough, an estimated crowd of 40,000 watched as a 20 minute fireworks display lit up the sky above Patriot Place. With music provided by Power 88.3 Dean College Radio, there were songs familliar to anyone that has been to a Patriots' game such as "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osborne and "For Those About to Rock" by AC/DC.

I know it was their first year, but that fireworks display with disappointing to say the least. The fireworks weren't that great and when it got to the finale, you didn't even know it. The fireworks came faster and faster for about 10 seconds, then....nothing. Over. My family couldn't believe that 40,000 people sat in horrendous to get in and get out for that pathetic display. Then about 20 minutes after they ended, they started up again...does that make any sense? Nope! I don't know about other people but on Independence day I want to hear patriotic music, not ACDC and Ozzy Osbourne. It was extremely disappointing.
