Summer Events From the Foxborough Recreation Department

A list of family friendly events and summer programs for Summer 2012 by Foxborough Recreation Department.

The Foxborough Recreation Department has prepared many family friendly events and programs for this upcoming Summer.  

As school winds down, start marking your calendar for what's next.

Full Family Events:

Pool Party- Wednesday 6/10. This is a celebration to the start of summer. It will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the CRRA, and will include DJ Eric, games, fun, prizes and snacks. There will be a fee of $5 per person/$20 per family.

Movies Under the Stars- July 18, and August 2. This event is held at the Booth playground at Sunset. This is an outside movie for free. Refreshments are available at the snack shack.

Programs:

Physics Fun- This a fun filled week of physics with daily experiments for children in grades 5-8. It will be held from July 16-20 from 1-3:30 p.m. at the CRRA. There is a registration fee of $115. 

Developmental Volleyball Program- This program will be held on Wednesday from July 11 to Aug. 15 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Booth playground volleyball court. This is open for kids in grades 5 to 8. There is a $25 fee for six weeks. 

Pee Wee Soccer- This is for ages three-five, held at Army Field at the Booth Playground. For just $20 you can sign your child up for two or more instructional sessions on the following Saturdays: July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4, and  Aug. 8.
