Search For New Igo School Principal Starts

Foxborough School Committee sets up search process for new principal at Igo School.

 

After naming Diane Myers-Pachia as the new Foxborough High principal, the Foxborough school department is now looking for a new leader at Igo School.

Ingrid Allardi, the current principal is leaving at the end of the school year to become superindendent of schools in Norfolk.

Foxborough School Superintendent Debra Spinelli wished Allardi in her new position.

"This is great for her," said Spinelli. "She'll be great at it."

School committee chairman Bruce Gardner said Allardi's appointment is a reflection of her work in Foxborough.

"It's always hard when people want to steal your good people away," he said with a smile.

School committee members Beverley Lord and Katie Kominsky were named to the search committee. Assistant Superintendent Amy Berdos will chair the committee and will hope to have candidates ready for May.
