Invensys Donation Will Help Fund Summer Math Camp
The Foxborough School Committee accepted a donation of $10,000 from Invensys.
The Foxborough School Committee graciously accepted a donation of $10,000 from the Foxborough rooted company Invensys during Monday's meeting.
The donation from Invensys will aid in funding the Ahern Middle School's Summer Math Camp.
"I would like to thank the folks at Invensys for all their work and commitment that they make to the community of Foxborough every year," said Superintendent Christopher Martes.
Invensys has stepped up year after year in helping to fund many of Foxborough's math and science endeavours. In November 2010, the School Committee accepted a $9,087 gift from Invensys to start a grade 8 robotics elective course at the Ahern Middle School. The grant aided in funding a new after school club, cleverly named the "Robodocs."

Our education system needs reform as well as funds. Our education system needs to be reformed. As a parent, I always try to motivate my daughter doing her studies. However, with motivation knowledge and skills are also required to do well. Our present education system does not always provide the challenges that (India and china provide to their students) can bring out the best from a student. Every American student has the capability to complete their school and hold postsecondary degrees. They have the expertise and talent; online tutoring services like tutorteddy.com helps to bring that out by providing them all essential helps at the most reasonable cost. Some of them offer online math scholarship program to help deserving underprivileged American students learning math at free of cost. There are many students in our country, who can’t continue with their studies due to lack of proper guidance and poor financial background. They can take advantage of online tutoring services.
