Foxborough Relay for Life to be Held This Weekend

The ninth annual Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro will be held June 22-23 at the Ahern Middle School track.

This weekend, for the ninth consecutive year, The Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro will continue its fight against cancer and walk the .

The walk – and fight – against cancer begins on Friday, June 22 with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. and concludes Saturday with closing ceremonies scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

The American Cancer Society’s annual event gives people the opportunity to “celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against this heartbreaking disease.”

Last year, teams participating in the Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro raised $103,816 and have raised more than $1 million since its inception nine years ago.

Foxborough resident and Fox 25 anchor Maria Stephanos will serve as mistress of ceremonies.
