Foxborough High Sports Scoreboard

The following are the tournament results for the Foxborough High athletic teams.

Girls' Tennis: Foxborough lost to Hopkinton, 3-2, Saturday, in Division 2 South finals at Hopkinton High. The Warriors finished the season with 21-1.  In the semifinals Thursday, Foxborough defeated Scituate, 3-0. Foxborough defeated Sharon, 3-2, Tuesday at the Brown-Bilone Tennis Club in North Easton. Foxborough defeated Bishop Stang, 4-1, Monday at the Brown/Bilore TC in North Easton in the first round.

Boys' Lacrosse: Foxborough lost to Concord-Carlise, 11-3, Tuesday as the Warriors ended their season with a 15-3 record.  Warriors defeated Reading, 3-1, Friday in Reading., Foxborough defeated Silver Lake, 9-0.

Track- At the All-State Meet, Tuesday at Fitchburg State University, Liz Holmes, No. 1 seed girls' mile, came in second in a time of 5:00.23, just being beaten out by Belchertown's Granger Madison, 4:59.90 

Softball: The Warriors lost to Hopkinton, 5-1, Sunday in the first round of the Division 2 South tournament to end their season with a 6-15 record. In the preliminary round of the Divison 2 South tournament, Foxborough knocked off No. 13 Hanover, 9-6.

 Girls' Lacrosse: The Warriors lost to Sandwich, 12-10, in overtime Tuesday in the Division 2 South tournament's first round. In the preliminary round, Foxborough defeated Martha's Vineyard, 18-11. The Warriors finished the season with an 11-8 record.

Boys' Tennis: Foxborough dropped a 5-0 decision to Hingham in the Division 2 South finals Sunday to finish the season with an 11-9. The Warriors defeated Dedham. 4-1, in their first tournament match, Friday.
