Foxborough Community Farm Stand Ready for Opening

The volunteer farm stand will be holding its grand opening on Saturday, July 7 at 10 a.m. on the corner of Route 140 and Walnut Street.

The Foxborough Community Farm Stand will be opening for the season with their grand opening on Saturday, July 7th at 10 a.m. on the corner of Walnut Street and Route 140.

The opening will feature refreshments and a special blessing from Father Steven Manning of St. Mary’s Church on Central Street.

Located on the corner of Route 140 and Walnut Street, the stand that runs with the help of about 100 volunteers provides fresh fruit and vegetables grown on site and nearby at places such as Flint Farm in Mansfield.

All proceeds from the farm stand are given to the Foxboro Discretionary Fund Food Pantry.

The stand will be open from 10 a.m. to  6 p.m. seven days a week until October.

Just a small correction: :-) The grand opening for the farm stand should be on the corner of Route 140 and WALNUT street, not Chestnut
