Foxborough Banker Named Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce 2012 Ambassador of the Year
Sharon Credit Union's Ingrid Williams recently received the Chamber's Ambassador of the Year Award for "going above and beyond the call of duty" in both her professional and community activities.
Sharon Credit Union's Foxborough branch manager Ingrid Williams has been named the 2012 Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year.
In this role as Ambassador, Williams works as an extended arm to the Chamber by engaging and educating members about all the services the Chamber has to offer.
Kara Griffin, Executive Director of the Tri-Town Chamber, presented Williams with the Ambassador of the Year Award for going “above and beyond the call of duty” in both her professional and community activities.
Williams has been involved in Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce for many years, as well as the Foxboro Rotary Club, where she currently serves as president, Foxboro Founder’s Day Committee, and other community service programs.
Last year, she was recognized by the Tri-Town Chamber as their Businessperson of the Year and by the Foxboro Rotary Club as the Paul Harris Fellowship Recipient.
“We are very proud of Ingrid’s contributions to the community,” said Maureen Gregory, Senior Branch Administrator for Sharon Credit Union. “She exemplifies the spirit of service with which Sharon Credit Union was founded.”
