1. Martin Luther King Day: Today marks the national observance of the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Martin Lurther King Day is a federal holiday. Below is a listing of what is open and closed today.

  • Federal Offices
  • Schools
  • Banks, most closed

Open:

  • Supermarkets
  • Retail
  • Resturants
  • Liquor Stores

2. Day Off From School Fun Tip: Head over to Winter Skate at Patriot Place for some fun skating with Spongebob Squarepants and Buzz Light-year! Skating with Spongebob Squarepants begins at 11:00am, followed by Buzz lightyear until 3 p.m.

3. Music Rehearsal: Neponset Choral Society will be hosting an open rehearsal tonight at 7:15 p.m., St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 116 South St., Foxborough. All experienced choral singers (high school seniors to adults) are invited to attend the two open rehearsals. Preparations will begin for the spring concert.  

4. Warrior Sports: The Foxborough Girls and Boys Varsity Swim teams will take on King Phillip at home today at 3:30 p.m.
